Description

The Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority (“LGCA”) is issuing this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for professional translation services to support the organization’s multilingual communication needs. The scope of work includes project-based and ongoing routine translation of content of the LGCA’s public-facing websites, online client portal, and internal projects and documents. The selected candidate (“consultant”) will work closely with the LGCA to ensure that all translated materials are accurate and aligned with the LGCA’s communication standards and objectives. The consultant will provide timely and consistent translation support as new content is developed and existing materials are updated

2.3. Proposal Submission
Candidates must submit their proposals by email to:
      Saranya Bali, Administrative Coordinator, Strategic Services and Public Affairs

by 12:00 p.m. (noon) Central Time on Thursday, October 16th, 2025 ("submission deadline").

Proposals must be submitted in PDF format. The LGCA does not accept .zip files or links to any cloud-based storage systems as a substitute for PDF documents.

Pricing and costs must not be included with the proposal. This information must be submitted by email to finance@LGCAmb.ca with the subject line: “Translation Services Pricing and Costs”. Pricing and costs submissions must be received no later than 24 hours after the submission deadline and will be reviewed after all proposals are evaluated.

Proposals must be a maximum of 30 pages, including any cover pages and appendices. Pricing and costs information is not included in this page maximum.

4.6. Pricing and Costs
Pricing and costs proposed by the candidate must be structured in such a way so that the cost of the entire proposal and each component of the cost are clear. Proposals must include a breakdown of proposed fees and a proposed payment schedule. The candidate must make any assumptions for the factors they deem necessary for their pricing and costs, however at minimum, they must provide the per word/page cost for:

standard turnaround timeframe translation, transcreation, editing and proofing.
highly-time sensitive (e.g., rush) translation, transcreation, editing and proofing.

Any assumptions made in responding to the pricing requirements must be clearly identified. If no assumptions are stated, the pricing proposed by the candidate will be deemed to be without any assumptions or conditions attached to that pricing. All travel expenses and other expenses that may be required must be financed from within the total fixed cost.
