The City of Edmundston is inviting interested tenderers to present a proposal for a downtown rental housing project for the property a project proposal for the property located at the corner of Canada Road and de l' glise Street (PID: 35138056, 35138064, 35328939), to the conditions of the tender document.
A site visit is recommended and will be held by appointment only. You can reach Ms. Isabelle Laplante by e-mail at isabelle.laplante@edmundston.ca or by phone at (506) 739-2080. A City representative will be present for your visit.
Tender documents regarding this contract may be obtained only at the reception desk of the Edmundston City Hall, by email at plan@edmundston.ca or by calling 506-739-2125.
The latest revision and amendments of the Procurement Act, S.N.B. 2012, c. 20, the Goods and Services Regulation 2014-93 - Procurement Act, O.C.2014-273, and the Construction Services Regulation - Procurement Act, O.C. 2022-306, shall apply for tendering procedures.
A 25,000$ security Bond in the form of either a Certified Cheque or a bank draft payable to ''Edmundston'' or an irrevocable letter of credit, issued by a Canadian chartered bank, must accompany the bid. Tenders will have to be signed and the name, address and phone number of the tenderer will also have to be indicated.
Sealed tenders indicating the name and address of the bidder on the envelope marked "PROJECT PROPOSAL - HOUSING - DOWNTOWN EDMUNDSTON, TENDER CALL 2025-052A, MAY 29, 2025," will be received by the Municipality of Edmundston until Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the reception desk of the Edmundston City Hall, 7 Canada Road, Edmundston, NB, by mail or e-mail until 2:00 p.m. (local time).
Public opening of tenders will follow immediately and will be also on Facebook live on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ville.edmundston.
The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted, and tenders received after the specified closing time and date will not be accepted.
