.1 Reference: General Information
.1 Attaching as a separate PDF the sample installation manual received
from Steris for reference and information only, as was requested at
site walkthrough on Tuesday. Please do not regard any red markings as
they are not necessarily accurate for this project.
.2 Reference Spec Section 24-24-00. The two fans specified in article 2.2,
CEWF-1, CWEF-2, shall be equipped with speed drives to article 2.3.
.3 Reference Spec Section 26-27-26. The new disconnects specified for cartwash
wet area shall be NEMA 3-R
.4 Reference Drawing E-1 Note 11. Data room is on Level 0 room 0302.

1.01 INVITATION TO TENDER
.1 Sealed tenders will be received by Horizon Health Authority - Attention Ms. Juanita Tompkins until 3:00 p.m., November 27th, 2025 Moncton Northeast Construction Association, Moncton New Brunswick, for the following project:

Cartwash Addition and Replacement

.2 Plans, Specifications, Tender Documents and other information, must be obtained from NBON or Moncton Northeast Construction Association. Bidders must register to take out documents for purpose of addenda.
.3 Site access for the purpose of reviewing existing conditions is restricted. Access to site shall be coordinated with Ms. Juanita Tompkins at (506) 857-5600. Site visit will be conducted for all contractors on Tuesday, November 18th, at 1:00 pm. The Site visit listed above will be mandatory for General Contractors wishing to bid. Meet at the Contractors Entrance near shipping and receiving.
.4 Tender Documents will be available for viewing at the Moncton Northeast Construction Association.
.5 General Contractor's Tenders must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Cheque in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tendered quotation.
.6 Tenders submitted in response to this invitation to tender shall be dealt with in accordance with the following terms and conditions, which are supplemental to and not in substitution for the tendering procedures contained in Regulation 82-109:
.1 The Owner will not necessarily accept any tender for award of the Contract.
.2 In making the decision to award the Contract pursuant to this invitation to tender the Owner will take into account:
.1 The history of work performance of each tenderer on similar or different types of work in recent and prior Contracts with the Owner.
.2 The tenderer's qualifications to perform the Work, the quality of the tenderer's past work, the tenderer's financial capability to do the Work and the competence of the tenderer.
.7 The requirements of the Construction Services Regulation shall apply.
