The consultant is to develop and present a recommendations report to identify opportunities, obstacles, and mitigation strategies to encourage residential, commercial, and industrial growth in New Sarepta. The recommendations report is to be completed by October 31, 2025; and will include: • Defined reasons for New Sarepta’s lack of residential, commercial, and industrial growth. • Subsequently determine strategy to overcome these reasons and stimulate growth. • Engage current investors and developers in similar communities to understand key factors that have attracted them to these communities and understand barriers preventing development in New Sarepta. • Identify steering committee members consisting of local community members and business owners. • Develop terms of reference for the steering committee. • Presentation of the report to Council.
