The Flin Flon Airport is requesting bids for our 2025 Runway Painting project. The scope of the project is to refresh all existing markings on the runway, taxiway and apron. These include touchdown markings, aim point markings, centrelines, threshold, taxiline, Hold line, Runway designation markings, Turn around. White and Yellow high grade traffic paint will be required, no glass beads. Yellow taxi line must go over top white markings.
Airport staff will provide radio contact and vehicle escort with Saskatoon Flight Service Station. The Runway will not be shut down for the painting, however a request for 30 minutes prior notice required will be issued to aircraft. Painting will be stopped for a flight to land and take off.
Weekends are prefered, as the air traffic is much slower.
The Project should be completed between June 1st and August 31, 2025, as the weather permits for suitable conditions.
