Notice is hereby given that Interior Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through their agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Scheduled Courier Servicesfor the Health Authority for a term of one (1) year at an estimated value of $2.08M Dynacare-Gamma Laboratory Partnership 115 Midair Court Brampton, ON, Canada L6T 5M3

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:
• the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason: To ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative. Rationale

To ensure the continued supply of these essential services to the Health Authorities with stable pricing, PHSA will direct award a contract to the current vendor until the currently planned competitive procurement process for future contract(s) is completed.

Vendors who wish to challenge this decision should submit a detailed written objection for the attention of Debbie Arnold, Buyer, Allied Health & Support Services by email before 2:00pm Pacific Time, September 25, 2023.
