Purchase of mini rescue truck for Cap-Acadie Fire Department

The Regional Town of Cap-Acadie will accept bids for the purchase of a mini rescue truck for the Fire Department with the following minimum specifications:

- Exterior color: red
- Body: 4-door (crew cab)
- Year: 2024 or newer
- Engine: V8 Turbo
- 4-wheel drive
- Automatic transmission
- Fuel consumption: diesel
- Construction standards according to CAN/ULC-S515-13 (or latest version at time of submission), National Standard of Canada, Standard for Automobile Fire Fighting Apparatus, Third Edition (2013), NFPA 1901 2016 Edition, National Fire Protection Association, Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus 2016 Edition, if possible and not in conflict with CAN/ULC-S515-13.

Bids will only be accepted in sealed envelopes with contents clearly marked until 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the municipal office:

The tender document is available at Cap-Acadie Town Hall from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tender opening will take place at the Town Hall in Cap-Acadie immediately after the deadline for receipt of tenders. The awarding of work or purchases will not take place at the time of the bid opening. The municipality will follow the procedure set out in the Crown Construction Contracts Act.

The Regional Town of Cap-Acadie does not commit to accept the lowest or any of the bids received. Any bid received after the date and time indicated will be rejected.
