4.1 Butternut Valley Municipality is seeking the services from a design-build modular
manufacturer to construct a new office for the municipality.

4.2 This contract will include the design, manufacturing & installation of the approximately
2000 sq ft of office space; scope includes but is not limited to, stamped drawings for
modular unit and foundations, delivery to Havelock, NB, energy modeling and associated
permit requirements. If the design-build manufacturer wants to include the associated
on-site installation costs in the proposal, pricing can be submitted as a separate price
included in this RFP.

4.3 Site Visit: A site visit is recommended to all manufacturers to coordinate any site
logistics that can impact the delivery and installation. Please coordinate the visit with the contact information provided in the RFP.

4.4 Site Development: The site development scope of work will be completed by the
municipality. Location of services for the property are provided in the attached appendix.
Exact location will be confirmed during the design process with the modular
manufacturer.

4.5 Testing and Inspections: The municipality will provide the required geotechnical
information and civil drawings for design coordination. Onsite material testing and
inspections will be completed by the municipality as required.

4.6 Substantial Completion & Warranty: The targeted substantial completion date for the
project is December 1st, 2025. Warranty is required for 12 months past substantial
completion. Final completion and occupancy is required by December 19, 2025.
