The University of British Columbia (“UBC”) is a global centre for teaching, learning and research, consistently ranked among the top 20 public universities in the world and recently recognized as North America’s most international university. UBC has two (2) main campuses situated in Vancouver and Kelowna.

The University of British Columbia (“UBC”) is seeking Proposal(s) from qualified and experienced suppliers with expertise in  ticketing system to implement an optimal solution for  the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts (“CCPA”) and its licensees.

Since its opening in 1997, CCPA at UBC has earned an international reputation for its striking design, stellar acoustics, and exceptional programming. CCPA hosts a wide range of events, from classical music to graduation ceremonies, and plays a crucial role in integrating artistic and academic disciplines at UBC, enriching campus life and culture. The CCPA’s state-of-the-art facilities include the following:
i. Chan Shun Concert Hall, 1400-seat venue with reserved and general admission;
ii. TELUS Studio Theatre, 275-seat space with multiple configurations including reserved and general admission; and,
iii. Royal Bank Cinema, 160-seat capacity cinema with reserved and general admission.

CCPA requires  computerized ticketing capabilities for their own use and for the licensees of CCPA. Licensees of those venues above are primarily local non-profit organizations with lower ticket prices than commercial licensees and larger non-profit organizations. Non-profit licensee ticketing needs include the ability to keep ticket prices low and affordable, including service charges related to the sale of these tickets. Fundraising functions for the CCPA are centralized on campus. CCPA anticipates using the ticketing/CRM software for fundraising.
