Description

he HeinOnline Core Collection Canada is a digital legal research library designed for Canadian firms and government institutions. It is needed to support legal work in the Legal Services Branch (LSB) and supports staff working remotely and out of satellite locations, where there is a lack of a complete print collection of historical legislative materials, including the LIBRN 24 role in Vancouver. The Core Collection Canada provides access to a wide range of current and historical legal resources, including:

Canadian legislative and case law materials
Canadian, U.S., and international law journals
U.S. federal and state case law
Historical legal and government documents
Specialized topical collections.

Resources titles and topics include: Law Journal Library, Canadian Acts of Parliament, Canada Supreme Court Reports, Civil Rights and Social Justice database, Code of Federal Regulations, CourtListener, COVID-19 Pandemics Past and Present, Criminal Justice and Criminology, Early American Case Law, English Reports, European Centre for Minority Issues, Federal Register Library, Foreign Relations of the United States, Gun Regulation and Legislation in America, Law Academy Project, Law Library of Congress Reports, Legal Classics, Legal Dictionaries, LGBTQ+ Rights, Military and Government, Military Legal Resources, National Defense University Press Publications, Open Society Justice Initiative, Pentagon Papers, Provincial Statutes of Canada, Revised Statutes of Canada, Slavery in America and the World, US Code, US Federal Legislative Histories, US Presidential Library, US Impeachment Library, US Statutes at Large, US Supreme Court Library, US Treaties and Agreements.
