AB-2025-06278 - Emergency Snow Removal Services

In order to be proactive and be able to respond quickly in the future the City has chosen to utilize a pre-qualification process to identify suppliers with the required crews and equipment that can be called upon to assist in removing snow from City streets under abnormal and emergency conditions. Crews that are pre-qualified will be placed on a priority call list to be activated under emergency road conditions. The emergency priority call list will be activated only after all equipment on the Equipment Rental list is fully utilized. Once Priority 3 and Priority 4 roadways are deemed passable the emergency call list will be suspended until the next emergency event. During an emergency situation pre-qualified companies will work with an entire snow removal crew with their own foreman to co-ordinate the equipment. The City will have a representative that will supervise the various crews' operations, activities and sign off daily time tickets. There is no guarantee of work under this contract
