Description

The Digital Research Alliance of Canada (the “Alliance”) is issuing this Request for Information (“RFI”) to the marketplace to invite respondents to submit information regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) specific computational resources in relation to the Government of Canada’s AI Sovereign Compute Infrastructure Program (AI SCIP), and more specifically the Alliance’s Vision for Sovereign AI Compute in Canada project.

The purpose of this RFI is to seek information from industry on possible solutions and technologies related to the AI computational needs of the Canadian academic community. Specifically, this RFI is requesting information for an AI SCIP Compute System including relevant roadmaps, trends, and future projections for 2025-2030. Responses covering only a subset of topics discussed are also encouraged.

Eligibility and Intent to Respond

To be eligible to respond, a Respondent must meet one of the following conditions:

Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) - The Respondent is an OEM of the equipment described in this RFI and is authorized to sell, deliver, and support the equipment directly.
Certified OEM Channel Partner / Integrator - The Respondent is a certified channel partner or integrator of the relevant OEM(s) and is authorized to sell, deploy, and support the OEM’s equipment.

Respondents wishing to participate must confirm their intent to respond by selecting Intent to Bid. All subsequent documentation—including, but not limited to, responses to questions and any addenda—will be distributed only to confirmed respondents (“Respondents”).
