DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Vertical Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining System
The Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering (MIE) at the University of Toronto (St. George Campus) is an undergraduate/graduate teaching/ research department and specializes in microfluidics engineering, thermodynamics, robotics, and machine design. The intent of the RFP is to select a Supplier to provide, deliver, and install a 3-axis Vertical Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining System capable of fabricating microfluidic molds, devices, and other parts, primarily using metal and plastic materials.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated

Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Thursday, August 07, 2025 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONTRACT DETAILS
The term of the agreement is one (1) year with an option to extend to two (2) years.
